Temple Swee Nyet, also known as Shui Yue Gong Temple, was built by the miners to seek protection from their deity. It is located at Kampung Pulai, 12 kilometers away from Gua Musang and is said to be the first Chinese settlement in Malaysia - dating from 400 years back.
