This state of the art creation is a 100-meter wide and 4-kilometer long boulevard surrounded by government offices and situated just opposite the Palace of Justice. It provides a great façade with a scenic waterfront and a stretch of buildings designed with unique architectural concepts.

4th Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2012 will be held from March 15-18 (7:00-19:00) near Monumen Kebangsaan Alaf Baru. However, whole area of Precint 2 will be occupied by the event.

This dagger-like bronze-coloured monument is one of the best kept secrets of Putrajaya. This monument was designed by the world-famous architect, Dr Ken Yeang, as a timeline to mark historical milestones from the Malacca Sultanate era, through the colonial times, and the new millennium.

If you look closely, the carvings on Monumen Kebangsaan Alaf Baru are actually depictions of the nation's historical moments.

Situated in the heart of Putrajaya, next to a lake, this park is equipped with many viewing platforms from which you will be able to see some of the city's great sights, including the the Putra Mosque, the Prime Minister's Office and the Sultan of Selangor's Palace (Istana Darul Ehsan).

Non-Muslims may not enter Masjid Putra Jaya during prayer hours.

This principal mosque of Putrajaya is inspired by the Sheikh Omar Mosque in Baghdad. It is one of the tallest towers in the region, standing at 116m. It is designed with five tiers, a pink dome and is made of rose-tinted granite.

You can go to the Taman Wetland Information Centre, rent a bicycle and a set of binoculars to complement your adventure.

This 197 hectare park was once an oil palm plantation. Apart from serving the purpose of flood mitigation and water filtration, the Putrajaya Wetland Park serves as a wildlife habitat as well as a nature interpretation centre. Services include personalized facilitation and guided tour around the park.
