NOTE：

The software now only supports Garmin GPS models compatible with driving recorder.
If the software upload fails, and subsequent upload attempts prove unsuccessful, the unit may need to be returned to Garmin for service. Call Garmin at +886.2.26429199 ext2 or email Garmin. You may also contact Garmin authorised dealer for product support.

How to Update the Software?

Download and save the update file onto the PC.
Insert the microSD card into an external card reader or Garmin GPS to have it connected to the computer.
Click the execution file on the PC and extract it to the Garmin folder on the microSD card.
Please insert microSD card into Driving Recorder. Mount the driving recorder on the Garmin GPS connected with a vehicle power cable and wait until the GPS powers on.
Touch driving recorder icon on the top right corner of the screen or go to Tools -> Driving Recorder -> Setting -> Stop Recording? -> Software Update.
Select “OK” when showing “Please keep power on while updating.” The file will begin to update. Please do not remove microSD card or vehicle charger in update process to prevent failure.
Select “Done” to finish the update. After updating, it will automatically go back to the main page and start to record.

How to check your software version?

Touch Tools -> Settings -> System.
Click About to check your software version.

NOTE

1. Operating system requires Microsoft Windows 2000/NT/XP/Vista (32 bit)
2.If you are not using Garmin GPS devices, you may fail to update software.
3.Please do not remove microSD card or vehicle charger in update process to prevent failure.
