GDR35 High Definition Standalone Driving Recorder

Garmin enables you to enjoy safe and easy driving with its next generation Standalone Driving Recorder GDR 35 which integrates GPS, display and gravity sensor into one device and features exclusive optional secondary camera. Garmin self-developed PC Tool software provides significant information such as images, maps, tracks, coordinates, time and speed. Data provide the best reference back to accident scene. Garmin offers "point to point" comparison. Click track info to view correspondent image with relative position on map. Garmin provides a more efficient tool to compare data information. Drivers can utilise video in port from mount to connect rear view camera. 

 

Global Positioning System

GPS function to provide information, such as images recording, map,  images, maps, tracks, coordinates, time and speed. Data can be imported to software PC Tool, which will be fully saved in PC. 

2.4" Monitor

2.4" monitor records images clearly and provides real-time playback. Record and playback right away is much more convenient. Snapshot helps return to accident scene to clarify the responsibility for the accident.

Built in Battery

The battery life lasts for one hour. Recorded files will be safely reserved if bumping into shut down.

Gravity Sensor

The gravity sensor will be enabling if detecting vehicle vibration, collision and emergency brake. The system will automatically trigger gravity sensor and manual recording file protection to ensure that the event intact replication.

Support Optional Secondary Camera (GBC 30)

Garmin presents the latest HD dual cameras and recording technology. GDR 35 supports front and rear image recording to ensure a safe driving experience.

Garmin GDR 35 adopts F/2.0 fast aperture. The high resolution camera lens improves night photosensitive. Thanks to Garmin exclusive low illumination and low noise image processing technology, you don't need to worry about overexposure, afterimage or noise when shooting at night. Driving recording image at night is clearer than ever. 110 degree wide angle from GDR 35 camera lens records every angle from front view even no blind spots. Vehicles from right side and left side can be clearly recorded.

Automatic File Protection

Built in gravity sensor triggers automatically for collison event prompts. The system protects the file to prevent images overwritten and the loss of important supporting information.

Press to protect files manually for collision event prompts. To save recorded files safely.

    NOTE:

    The software now only supports Garmin GPS models compatible with driving recorder.
    If the software upload fails, and subsequent upload attempts prove unsuccessful, the unit may need to be returned to Garmin for service. Call Garmin at +886.2.26429199 ext2 or email Garmin. You may also contact Garmin authorised dealer for product support.

    How to Update the Software?

    1. Please format your micro SD card through GDR 35 before starting software update.
    2. Download and save the update file onto the PC.
    3. Insert the microSD card into an external card reader or Garmin GPS to have it connected to the computer.
    4. Click the execution file on the PC and extract it to the root folder on the microSD card.
    5. Please insert microSD card into Driving Recorder.
    6. Click Tools -> Setting -> Software Update -> OK.
    7. The file will begin to update and appears“Please keep power on while updating". Please do not remove microSD card or vehicle charger in update process to prevent failure.

     

    How to check your software version?

    • Touch Tools -> Settings -> About.
    • Click About to check your software version.

    NOTE

    1. Operating system requires Microsoft Windows 2000/NT/XP/Vista (32 bit)
    2. If you are not using Garmin GPS devices, you may fail to update software.
    3. Please do not remove microSD card or vehicle charger in update process to prevent failure.
